When the 30 Day Kombucha Challenge first launched in January of 2012, it was specifically designed as a cross category promotion to raise awareness of commercial Kombucha. Little did Alex and I know that just 2 years later, we’d be hosting the first annual KombuchaKon – the conference of Kombucha Brewers International – where we are co-founders and I serve as the current President.
Every step along this journey, which began with a single sip, has progressed organically. Taking my lead from the Kombucha culture herself, she inspired me to teach, she inspired me to blog about the knowledge and experiences I gained, she inspired me to spread word of her benefits far and wide. Then, she inspired me to organize my “tribe” – all of the passionate people who also fell in love with this funky fermented tea and who were inspired to help their communities heal. And now she’s inspired me to bring this wisdom full circle as a gift to each of you.
I have learned so much about what it means to be a living human being on a living interconnected eco-system. The lessons learned and the wisdom shared is innate, it lives in the DNA of every single one of us through this collective process of evolution and epigenetics. Generation to generation wisdom is both lost and gained, yet deep in our hearts, deep in our cells – yearning to be re-membered – it persists; it desires to be put back to use again so that we may all thrive in the Garden of Eden here on Planet Earth.
If there has been any “lesson learned” from recent years, its that our most valuable asset is our health. We must invest in that asset in order to yield the best ROI – return on investment – so that we may reap the benefits for years to come. No matter your reason or how you found this 30 Day Kombucha Challenge, I hope that you will take this opportunity to dive into truly learning how to “Trust YOUR gut.”
What is shared here, by myself and these other healers, is an invitation to excavate the layers of self and uncover or rediscover what it means to thrive. Along the way, we will unlock modalities that may either seem foreign or perhaps are perfectly normal depending on your life experience. I don’t want the responsibility of making all of your decisions for you. I’m living my own life, I’m on my own path and yes, I have my own healing journey with ups, downs, twists and turns, because at the end, we each can only tread our own path. These tools have helped me grow and I’m excited to share them with you. The goal is to truly honor that only YOU know what’s best for YOU.
This is not only a chance for you to join me – it’s a chance for me to delve a little deeper and recommit to my own journey.
Thank you for sharing your support and stories – may we inspire each other as “we grow together.”
