The tea liquor (brewed tea) is a deep red hue with a bold, malty flavor with honey and sweet citrus notes. This tea makes a wonderful base for a traditional “apple-y” Kombucha as the darker tannins lead to more malic acid in the final brew.
How to Enjoy
- Ideal temperature = 212ºF (100ºC)
- Steep for 3-5 minute in a teapot – any longer and it may overbitter
